Examine Posture

With Clinicbuddy's postural analysis function, you can determine to what degree your patient's posture deviates from 'ideal' posture. This is a built-in feature of Clinicbuddy, and can been used as often as you like at no extra charge.

Postural Analysis

With the help of a webcam you can quickly take photos of your patients, and then automatically calculate the degrees and angles of their posture. After clicking on key anatomical features of the patient, Clinicbuddy performs an automatic analysis of the posture. The angles and degrees of the analysis can then be displayed on a 3-D skelletal model and compared with a skelleton with ideal posture. This is an excellent tool for educating the patient about the importance of posture, and helps to improve patient compliance.

Posture and health go hand in hand

Research suggests that patient's perception of their own well-being in directly related to the head's position/angle in the saggital plane (forward head posture, 'computer-neck'). The further forward the head is in the saggital plane, the lower the patient's overall perception of health.

Back pain, headache, mood, blood pressure, puls and lung volume are just a few examples of things which can be affected by posture.
